SPEECH DAY 2010
08 July 2010What wonderful weather we had for our Speech Day again. The huge marquee in the grounds was full and hot while the children waited for the speeches and to find out the prize winners. After the School Orchestra accompanied the whole audience in a rendition of 'Rule Britannia' and the Rock Band serenaded us with 'Hometown Alabama', the Principal gave her speech and prizegiving ceremony began. Jim Hudson OBE (Chief Education Officer, Cognita) then gave an entertaining and uplifting address.
The production that followed was fantastic and huge credit must go to the whole school for putting on, once again, a marvellous performance.
