Remembrance Day Service

The school gathered outside the LAF Building just before 11.00. Mrs. Boyton Corbett led the service. The Head Boy and Head Girl read a short piece about why we are remembering members of the Armed Forces. We then sang a hymn. The School Bell was rung at 11.00 and the silence was observed. When it rang again, Mrs. Boyton Corbett read a poem which ended with us all saying "We will remember them". L/Cpl Harding then laid the first wreath, followed by a representative from each Year. After a prayer, the Year 5 & 6 Choir sang 'Carol for Refugee Children'.
