DRAMA

Drama plays a large rôle in the life of St. Margaret's. Plays are performed regularly by each class and Year groups in Assemblies. In addition to the various rôle-play activities employed in English lessons, there is a concert in one form or another each term in which sketches, poems and monologues and dances may be performed. Each Summer Term sees the grand whole-school production. This features all the pupils from Nursery to Year 6, and is performed in a marquee after Speech Day. This production includes many dance routines and both solo and group singing. In recent years children have gained many drama and performing arts scholarships to Public schools and Performing Arts schools.
